group plans to leave Monday, June 30 to go to San Antonio for the BMAA
meeting, and return on Saturday, July 5.
Service
Opportunities -
Please pick up a "Service Opportunities" form and complete it, indicating the
areas of service in which you would like to be involved. Return your completed
form to a Christian Committee member, or to the church office, as soon as
possible.
Women of Faith -
We have four tickets to the Women of Faith conference, to be held in Dallas
August 22 -23. The tickets are $65.00 each. If you would like to attend this
conference, please see Carla Bowman.
Discipleship
class -Darren is leading a discipleship class, "Body Builders," which will meet each
Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
Coins for Colorado - Coin collection cans are available to be placed
in your home or business for the VSM trip to Colorado.
A coin collection bottle for
this effort is located in the back of the auditorium; any donation you can
give is greatly appreciated by the members of VSM.
Each VSM member is responsible for raising $2,000 for the trip in July 2008.

Volleyball Games -
Each Thursday evening at the church, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is
invited to come and play.
Summer
Soccer Camp - We will be having a soccer camp on
8/11 through 8/15, 9:00 a.m. to noon. The cost for early registration is $20.00 per
participant.
The early registration lasts through the end of July. On August 1, the price
increases to $40.00 per participant; no exceptions.
There will be a registration table set up each Saturday in July, and
Thursday, July 31 in the front of the church from 9:00 a.m. to
noon. The soccer camp is for children 5 years old through 12 years old.
Enrollment is limited to 100 campers, so don't wait!
